QR Code Generator
Encode your exact link for print-ready cards. Static QR, high error correction, PNG + SVG — nothing uploaded.
Static QR — encodes your exact link. No shortener, nothing uploaded.
Missing https:// is added automatically. Print this exact destination — it will not expire.
Keep strong contrast (black on white is safest for print).

How to make a print-ready QR code
- Choose URL, Text, or Wi‑Fi and enter the content.
- Keep error correction at Q (cards) or H (max durability). Leave colors high-contrast.
- Download SVG for print, or PNG at 512px / 1024px for screens.
- Print a scan test before a full card run — same payload, forever.
Why static QR codes beat “smart” short links
Many online generators wrap your URL in their redirect service. When the account lapses or the shortener dies, every printed card fails — even though the QR still scans. DevDock encodes your exact destination with a widely used client-side library (qrcode), adds a proper quiet zone, and defaults to strong error correction so ink, scuffs, and small sizes still scan. The code works as long as your URL does.
FAQ
Will my printed QR code stop working later?
The QR itself never expires — it is a permanent encoding of the text or URL you entered. If a print fails later, the destination link moved or broke, not the code. DevDock does not use temporary short links or a hosted redirect.
Is my URL uploaded?
No. Generation runs with the qrcode library entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to DevDock servers.
PNG or SVG for business cards?
Prefer SVG for print — it scales cleanly at any size. Use PNG (512px or 1024px) for email, social, or apps that need a raster image.
What is error correction Q / H?
QR codes can survive damage or low-quality print. Q (~25%) is a strong default for cards. H (~30%) adds more redundancy for scuffs, folds, or busy backgrounds. Higher levels make a denser pattern for the same data.
Why did you add https:// to my link?
Phones open bare domains more reliably as websites when a scheme is present. If you need another scheme (mailto:, tel:, etc.), type it explicitly.
Adding campaign params to the link first? Use the UTM Link Builder. Need to percent-encode a messy URL? Try the URL Encoder / Decoder.
