FAQ

Is my CSV or JSON uploaded?

No. Parsing and conversion run entirely in your browser. Spreadsheet rows and customer data never leave your device.

Why does Excel CSV use semicolons?

In many European locales Excel exports with ; because comma is the decimal separator. Choose Semicolon or leave Delimiter on Auto.

How do quoted commas and quotes work?

Fields can be wrapped in double quotes. A comma or newline inside quotes stays in the cell. A literal quote is written as "" — standard RFC 4180 CSV.

What does Auto-type do?

It turns 42 into a number, true/false into booleans, and empty cells into null. Turn it off when you need leading zeros (zip codes, SKUs like 00123) kept as strings.

What JSON shapes work for JSON → CSV?

An array of objects (most common), an array of arrays, an array of primitives, or a single object. Nested objects/arrays are written as JSON text inside the cell. Mixed arrays are rejected with an error.

What is the file size limit?

About 2 MB of text in the browser. That covers typical spreadsheet exports. Very large dumps belong in a local script or CLI.
